After a lot of work and time. The Octo-Samurai Comic is here!

As I have said in my earlier posts, Octo-Samurai started as sketch for a drawing challenge last year and evolved into something larger and more personal. After the sketch, it became a promotional postcard illustration. Now it has become a comic.

My day job is teaching art to elementary school students. So when it was time for my students to learn about comics I used Octo-Samurai as an example. I had a lot of fun doing it so I decided to take the project further.

While in the process of making the images, I was able of polish my digital painting skills and test out new brushes and techniques in Photoshop as well.

Now, after a lot of work and time, the first chapter of the comic is done.

For now I will be hosting it on tapastic.com. Later I may have a section of my website for it or add more sites that host it depending on the response it gets.
