Recently I updated my logo. The new design was inspired by a Chinese seal my father gave me several years ago. While I almost never used it as a signature (its intended purpose), I did on occasion use it on artwork. Most recently my Octo-Samaurai illustration.

The seal was only a starting point. After multiple ideas and brainstorming sessions I decided on adding elements of my real signature to the design. By the end of the process I arrived at the final version of the logo you see now.
